Samsung ML-2010 Review
As goes for any printer, it will have its good and bad. One of the most beautiful features of the Samsung ML-2010 is its size. It easily can be placed within a dorm, home office, or business. Its printer speed is fast, the quality of the text is magnificent, it's compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows, and the set up process is as easy as it gets. All you'll need is a USB cable and the drivers load up themselves. The Samsung ML-2010 is a laser printer therefore guaranteeing pinpoint accuracy when it comes to printing text. The Samsung ML-2010 consist of a white plastic front along with the sides and back having a touch of gray. It holds up to a maximum of 150 sheets in the input tray and the output bin holds up to 50 sheets. If you're looking for a small compact efficient laser printer the Samsung ML-2010 is definitely not a bad printer to start out with.
Now, on to the not so pretty features of the Samsung ML-2010. This printer only prints in black and white. For most, this isn't a problem; however, there are people who insist of having a printer that prints color. Another feature that may irritate people is the fact that it doesn't hold that many papers at once. One hundred and fifty papers may sound like a lot, but if you run a business and you're constantly using your printer, having to reload it every five to six hour might become a little frustrating. On top of the small paper tray, no color, the Samsung ML-2010 printer doesn't come with a USB cable and it only has 8MB of memory which is not expandable.
Conclusion: Samsung ML-2010
This printer will definitely be sufficient enough considering the quality and price. On average, you can purchase the Samsung ML-2010 from approximately $300-$350 USD. Purchasing it used will save you more times than not over a hundred dollars or more. The replacement cartridge will average anywhere from $65-$90 dollars but will print 2,000 more pages than the original cartridge that it's sent with according to Samsung.
If you're a local business, college student, or home office the Samsung ML-2010 is just what you're looking for. On the flip side, if you're a larger business employing around 70 people and 35 of them are constantly printing out paper daily, you may want to upgrade into something a bit more sophisticated. The Samsung ML-2010 is more for the everyday kind of users as for a large business. If you still were interested in buying this product regardless of this issue, you may want to purchase 2-3 of them to make up for the lack of paper it can hold. All in all you can't go wrong with this laser printer. Samsung is always considered top-of-the-line when it comes to technology and their printers are just another reason why they're in that category. I would give the Samsung ML-2010 an eight out of 10 stars only because it doesn't print in color and only holds 150 pages. Everything else is legitimate as it gets!
